I offer many different types of parties that you can hold to help you reach your goals. The types I offer are:

• Traditional Party
• Open House
• Open Playhouse
• Catalog Party
• Specialty Party

A Traditional party is one where all the guests arrive at the same time and stay for a fun product demonstration, some fun social time, and is usually followed by treats. This type is usually the most successful because the guests get to learn about WHY the products are special and different than other products out there. This type of party usually lasts between 1-2 hours. Although this is my favorite, I do think that it can be more practical for some hostesses to utilize the other options.

The Open House is where I bring several toys to your house and you can invite your friends to come any time of your choosing between 1 and 3 days to see the products. I will not necessarily be there to demonstrate the toys, but the guests will be able to come to your house to see the toys, play with them and then place orders. After 3 days, I will pick up my toys and the order forms.

The Open Playhouse is where we schedule a block of time (about 2-4 hours usually) for parents to come and go as they please and bring the kids along to play with the toys I bring. This gives the parents a chance to see what their children like and what they don't like. I will be there to answer questions and demonstrate products if desired. It will not be as formal as a typical party because of the kids, but it can be just as fun and rewarding.

A Catalog Party is where you get 2 or 3 catalogs and simply show them to your friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, etc. and let them know you can get those products ordered for them. This type of party is good if you don’t want to invite people to your house, if you’ve just recently had a party for a different party company, if your co-workers make up the majority of your guest list anyway, or if you just don’t want to make your friends feel like they will be pressured for going to a party. Unlike many other home party companies, all the same benefits still apply to Discovery Toys catalog parties!

One example of a Specialty Party would be for a baby shower. Rather than having the guests bring gifts, they simply show up and can buy gifts for the guest of honor while at the party. The guests are also invited to purchase any products they would like for their own kids' birthdays, Christmas presents, etc. The guest of honor would create a wishlist of products before the party and the guests can choose from that list. It helps take all the guesswork out of what to get that mother-to-be! The hostess would get benefits on all the products that are purchased at the party. What could be a better start than to get educational Discovery Toys products for the new addition?

The different party types that I just mentioned are only basic outlines of what I can actually do for you. Nothing is set in stone and I'm very flexible with what you think would work best for your individual situation. Once we have set a date for a party, I will work with you to answer any questions you may have to ensure the best possible outcome for your party. I believe that teamwork is the key to success in a home party company—the more free products the hostess earns, the more money I make. It's a win-win situation for everyone!
